Post 1948: In 1948 Beit Dagan was established on village land, and was settled mostly by immigrants from Yemen and North Africa. In 1949 Moshav Mishmar HaShiv‛a was established on village land; likewise in 1950 Moshav Ḥemed and in 1953 Moshav Ganōt.
Today: Several houses remain, some inhabited or used by Jews, one of which has been converted into the Eli Cohen synagogue. The cities of Rishon Letziōn (lit.,“First to Zion”) and Holon lie partly on village land.
Official Israeli name: The town built on the village is named Beit Dagan. The site of the former village of Beit Dajan has no name.
